His Excellency Dr. Mahmud Bawumia on his Ramadan Tour paid a visit to the Muslims in Banda District to promote unity and peace among the indigents with his entourage, Hon Mustapha Abdul-Hamid (Minister of Inner Zongo Development), Hon. Abubakar Siddique Boniface (Minister of State at the Office of the Vice President) and Hon. Saaka Stephen (Deputy Regional Minister of Bono Region).

His Excellency, gave out 20 (50kg) bags of rice, 30 (25kg) bags of sugar and some amount of money to the women, chiefs and imams of the muslim communities. 

His Excellency enjoy his Iftar with the Muslims presents and prayed with them before leaving.
